			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I first heard there was going to be a third season of the Next Iron Chef, I was a little baffled. Why have another season? who are you going to replace on the current Iron Chef? The previous season was used to replace Mario Batali who was having some health concerns it sounded like. It&#8217;s starting to seem that there maybe too many cooks in the kitchen over at Food Network, because how much air time can you give to all the chefs?</p>
<p>This comes on the heals of the Next Food Network Star, yet another show that brings new star power to the channel, which recently finished up. I don&#8217;t recall seeing a show starring the previous winner of that competition, where are they going to fit the new star? I guess Scripps does have the Cooking Channel, or whatever it is called, to shift talent to but it&#8217;s very hard to believe that there is a demand for this much cooking on television.</p>
<p>So much of Food Network&#8217;s schedule is just throw away at this point. They simply rerun much of their programming everyday, a lot of those staple shows don&#8217;t even have new episodes these days to my knowledge. I just don&#8217;t know, doesn&#8217;t seem like these channels are going in the right direction to me.</p>

I&#8217;m tired of going to people&#8217;s kitchens and finding crappy, dull knives that don&#8217;t cut through anything, little lone a tiny piece of fruit or vegetables. <a href="http://kitchengadgetsforhome.blogspot.com/">Kitchen Gadget Dude</a> has it right when it comes to dull knives, they&#8217;re way more dangerous than a sharper knife. Get something made from high-carbon, forged by hand, and preferably made in Germany. Get the best and learn to sharpen your knives, it&#8217;s the best investment for your kitchen.</p>
